Next Level Prime Billet AR15 Upper Receiver
Model closeout– The Prime uppers fit nicely on any AR15 mil-spec lower receiver. Machined from solid block aluminum and hard coat anodized. We have discontinued the Prime series, so if you are looking for an upper receiver to start a build, this is a great deal for a billet upper! Since the Prime series is discontinued, so we do not have any more Prime Lower receivers to create a set.
Each NLX Prime billet AR15 upper receiver starts with a solid USA Milled 7075 Aerospace Alloy Aluminum block. We cut to length on our Programmable CNC Marvel Saw. After cutting, we perform lathe operations on live tooling Mazak Machines. We then transfer machining to our New Haas SS mills with Touch probe Capabilities. Once completed, we hard coat anodize to mil-spec tolerances ensuring a durable finish.

I bought the Prime Billet Upper because of the price. I needed an upper to complete a built on an SBR. But then I realized I had purchased a Prime Billet lower a year ago (and matched it with a forged upper). So instead took the billet upper and billet lower put them together. It looks really good on my SPR. I’m now going to put that forged upper on a forged lower SBR instead. It is smoother look with out the forward assist.
As far as blems go, I’m not sure I can find one. Now because I’m a glutton for punishment, I’m getting two more of these Blem uppers. One will be either 6mm arc or 6.5 Grendel for the SPR lower and the other with be a 16 inch 556 mid-length gas.
