The Ascend Phoenix 450 Bushmaster is built on our Ascend Phoenix ambidextrous receivers, loaded with Ascend components, and includes our  NLX556 Ambi Charge Handle.  We use a Tromix 450 BM Barrel with a Tromix 450BM bolt assembled into our AR15 DLC carrier for superior quality, accuracy, and dependability.

Why 450 Bushmaster?

Well, sometimes you just need some Thump.  The 450 Bushmaster round evolved as a true big bore hunting and defense round for an AR15.  Built from the ground up to deliver maximum kinetic energy downrange, the 450 Bushmaster round boasts over 2700 ft lb of force.   

The 450 is uniquely suited to hunting at under 250 yards, beyond that there is significant bullet drop. If you sight your rifle in for 150, you can confidently put 260gr + bullets in a 4.5″ circle.  This makes for an absolutely vicious hog, bear, or deer rifle that carries enough knockdown power to stop them in their tracks.
