The Ascend Phoenix Left Hand 338ARC Pistol

 The right-hand Ascend Phoenix was our first complete rifle built on Next Level’s revised Ascend Armory billet sets, but demand for a left-hand AR15 platform became obvious after the overwhelming success of our Ascend 308 Left-Hand ambidextrous rifle and receiver sets.   Therefore, we created the Ascend Phoenix Left-Hand receivers specifically for left-handed operators. 

Changes Made for the Left-Handed Operator

While the Ascend Phoenix LH receivers still feature ambidextrous controls similar to the right-hand Ascend Phoenix, we relocated the components to deliver a more comfortable and easier to use setup.  Further more, by reversing the takedown/pivot pins, we created increased access to the safety not found in an ambidextrous lower for right-hand operators.  Enjoy the feel and functionality of a firearm designed with the left-hand shooter in mind.  

Developed by Hornady, the 338 ARC round delivers more energy and better terminal performance than it’s 300 Blackout counter part.  In fact, 338 ARC subsonic rounds (307 grain) deliver 1.5 times the energy than 300 Blackout (208 grain) with a longer effective range.  Not only that, but the velocity drop shooting super sonic rounds through a short barrel vs. a long barrel is very small compared to other calibers.

338 ARC uses the 6.5 Grendel as it’s parent case, so the pressures are more consistent, providing reliable cycling with both super and subsonic loads.  Who wouldn’t want big bore performance on an AR15 platform?

Based on our Ascend Phoenix billet receivers, the Ascend Phoenix 338ARC Pistol takes the performance of the 338 ARC and combines it with high quality, ambidextrous receivers.  Machined and assembled in house, you won’t find a better pistol on the market.
