I’m building an AR-10 (NLX308 Blem) so I bought this Ascend mod1 from Primary Arms. It was really an add on because it was on sale. I did not want to like it because then I’d consider changing out all my endplate and castle nuts.
After installing it, I am considering changing all my endplates and castle nuts. I’m not even going to use the QD swivel. I prefer to use the footman loop on my stock. I just like the way the Mod1 looks and feels. It looks and feels much better than the milspec ones. Looks like I’m going to replace on all my NLX lowers.
I’d also like to report I have had the same exact issue with my Ascend AR-15 Enhanced takedown pins. I can’t buy Ascend 308 takedown pins until they are back in stock somewhere.
