I’m building an SPR from a Blem NLX Fifteen Billet Lower. I really enjoy the billet features with the logo on the magwell, threaded bolt catch, and threaded rear takedown pin screw (4-40 Set Screw). Sourcing these screws were from Aero.
I bought this Ascend AR-15 enhanced takedown pins. Now that I have used them I have to buy them on all builds going forward. It is better than milspec and easier to use when the upper and lower are tight. Tolerences matter. On a different branded AR-15 milspec works fine because they are not that tight unless I get a receiver wedge.
